Frank Celebrates at Victory Lane!

July 10, 2004 Trophy Dash Win-A great way to get back in the swing of racing after a month-long break!

June 12, 2004 - Frank Borges Jr qualified first for the trophy dash (setting a new track record of 15.37 seconds), started at the end of the pack (inverted start placed drivers in reverse order of their championship standing), worked his way past a dozen other cars, and placed third in an exciting photo-finish in the 50-lap main event at Madera Speedway.

June 5, 2004 - Frank Borges Jr set the track record again (15.41 seconds), had engine heating problems and was forced to pull out of the first race with only four laps to go, then returned in the evening to win the second feature race of the day.

May 29, 2004 - Frank Borges Jr treated the early crowd at Madera Speedway by claiming the track record (15.48  seconds) in the time trials and taking first place in the daytime race. Later that evening, Frank got tangled up with the other pack leader and crossed the finish line in eighth place. It was a thriller of a day, with fans at the edge of their seats to witness Frank take his second victory of the season. May 29 results...

just hours after setting the track record.
April 17, 2004 - After kicking off the 2004 racing season with three top-five finishes, Frank Borges Jr finally got his first victory on April 17, along with a third place and finish in the evening race. Frank is currently ranked No. 2 in the Nascar Dodge Weekly Series, Sportsman Class, at the Madera Speedway in northern California. April 17 results...
