| June 12 - Frank Borges Jr qualified first for the trophy dash (setting a new track record of 15.37 seconds), placed thrid in the trophy dash, then started at the end of the pack in the 50-lpa main event (inverted start placed drivers in reverse order of their championship standing), worked his way past a dozen other cars, and placed third in an exciting photo-finish at Madera Speedway. |

| June 5, 2004 - Frank Borges Jr set the track record again, had engine problems and pulled out of the first race, then returned that evening to win the second feature race of the day. |

| May 29 - Frank Borges Jr treated the early crowd at Madera Speedway by claiming the track record in the time trials and taking first place in the daytime race. Later that evening, Frank got tangled up with the other pack leader in the evening race and crossed the finish line in ninth place. It was a thriller of a day, with fans at the edge of their seats to witness Frank take his second victory of the season. |
